We formed our first LLC through Bizee in July 2024: a Wyoming LLC for a small startup team, on the Standard package. We are still customers, because Bizee is still our registered agent. So this review isn’t built from a pricing page. It’s what we paid, how long it took, and what the service has been like since.

One disclosure first: this page has no affiliate link, and nothing on it was sponsored. Where we describe what Bizee sells today rather than what we bought in 2024, we say so and link to its own pages, because packages and prices move. Our method page explains how we keep the two apart.

The short version

Bizee did what we paid for, without drama. The filing went through, the package was delivered, and support has answered every question we’ve sent in under an hour. Where we’d push back is speed. From order to having everything finalized took a little over 30 days, and we hadn’t paid for expedited filing. If you need your LLC to exist next week, that matters.

It suits a founder who wants the paperwork handled, a registered agent included for the first year, and someone to email when a state letter looks alarming. It’s a weaker fit if you’re comfortable filing with the state yourself and applying for your own EIN, because then most of what the paid packages add is convenience.

What we bought, and what it cost

We chose the Standard package at $199, plus Wyoming’s $100 state filing fee at the time: $299 in total. Nobody pushed extras on us at checkout. The package was the product, and what we paid matched what we had been quoted.

Bizee’s current packages keep the same three tiers: Basic at $0, Standard at $199 and Premium at $299, each plus the state fee. When we checked the order page in September 2026 for a Wyoming LLC, the state fee line read $103. Every tier includes the state filing and a first year of registered agent service. Standard adds an EIN, an operating agreement, lifetime compliance alerts and unlimited phone and email support, which Basic doesn’t include. Premium adds expedited filing, ready-to-use business contracts and a domain name with business email.

The current order page also lists two optional add-ons on Standard: expedited filing for $50 and business contracts for $150. Neither was part of our order.

How long it took

A little over 30 days passed between our order and the point where everything in the package was finalized. That was slower than we expected. Bizee is at least upfront about part of the reason: its order page shows a three-week queue for Basic and Standard, with filing in one business day reserved for Premium or the $50 expedite option.

Our advice: if a bank account, a contract or a launch date depends on the LLC existing by a certain day, pay for expediting or file with the state directly. If a month is fine, Standard is fine. Our Wyoming LLC guide covers the state side of the process if you’d rather do it yourself.

Support

This is where Bizee earned its fee. Every question we’ve sent has come back in under an hour. On a first LLC, when you don’t yet know which state letter matters and which one is a solicitation dressed up to look official, fast answers are worth more than they sound.

The paperwork, and the one thing missing

You get the filed formation documents and, on Standard, the EIN and an operating agreement. What we didn’t get was a proper invoice. Our only proof of payment is the confirmation email. That works as a receipt. It works less well when an accountant asks for a numbered PDF invoice. If your books need one, ask support before you pay rather than after.

After year one: the registered agent renewal

The free first year of registered agent service is what makes the $0 plan look free. It isn’t free forever. When we checked in September 2026, Bizee’s registered agent page listed the standalone service at $149 a year. In Wyoming you can’t avoid this cost unless you, or someone you trust, has a physical address in the state, which rules out most owners who live abroad. Our guide to what a registered agent does explains the requirement, and if you want to leave Bizee later, changing your registered agent is a standard state filing.

Is Standard worth $199 over the $0 plan?

Look at what the $199 actually buys. An EIN is free from the IRS if you apply yourself, and our operating agreement guide explains why a single-member LLC can often write its own. What’s left is the support line, the compliance alerts and someone else doing the forms. For our first LLC, with a team waiting on it and nobody keen to learn the IRS process, that was worth paying for. For a solo founder in no hurry, Basic plus your own EIN application is the cheaper route.

One caveat if you live outside the US: getting an EIN without a Social Security number is slower and fiddlier than the online application, as our guide for non-US residents explains. That is a stronger argument for letting a service handle it. Note too that the free first-year business phone line bundled with Premium is offered to US-based clients only.

For comparison: our second LLC

When I later formed Net Studio LLC, my own AI training business, in Missouri, I didn’t go through Bizee. I used a local registered agent service that charged $290 all in. Different state, different provider, so this isn’t a like-for-like test. Still, it lands in the same range as our Bizee order once the state fee is added. Between services, the headline price tends to matter less than what the package includes and how fast it moves.

Who Bizee suits, and who it doesn’t

Bizee suits you if this is your first LLC, you want one company to handle the filing, the EIN and the registered agent together, and you value quick answers. It doesn’t suit you if you’re in a hurry and won’t pay for expediting, if your bookkeeping needs formal invoices, or if you’re happy to file with the state yourself. In that last case, our LLC cost by state breakdown shows what you’d pay with no service in between. And if you’re still choosing a provider, our best LLC service comparison sets Bizee against Northwest, ZenBusiness and LegalZoom.

FAQ

Is Bizee legit?

Yes, in our experience. We paid, the LLC was formed, and Bizee has been our registered agent since July 2024. The company says it has served more than a million entrepreneurs since 2004.

Is Bizee the same as Incfile?

Yes. Bizee is the company formerly known as Incfile.

Is Bizee’s LLC formation really $0?

The Basic package is $0 plus the state fee, and it includes a first year of registered agent service. After that year the registered agent renews at Bizee’s annual rate, and the state’s own annual fees still apply.

How long does Bizee take to form an LLC?

Our Wyoming LLC on the Standard package took a little over 30 days until everything was finalized. Bizee’s order page currently quotes a three-week queue for Basic and Standard, and one business day with Premium or the $50 expedite option.
